I’d been weighing up where the ideal starting point into wet shaving was. And this is it. The brush is a pleasure, as is the soap. You get a great selection of blades to try, and you even get some with the Edwin Jagger razor. It’s an ideal razor to start with. It’s well balanced, and is a delight to use. Plus the customer service from the Shave Lounge is brilliant.

Fantastic deal! I had been thinking for some time to buy a Safty Razor, I have very sensitive skin, and shaving always ends up with me burning, no matter what products I have used it the past. So, having a look around I came across Shave Lounge. Given they have an online chat tool, I was able to ask them all the questions I had built up over the months.
The recommendations I got back have proved invaluable to me, I now use the soap provided with the Sensative Skin shaving pack, shown here, and my skin has never fely better! Paired with the safty razor, I can now shave smooth and not get any irritation at all!
For anyone thinking of buying a DE Razor, that has sensitive skin, buy this from here it is brilliant.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but very impressed. Takes a while to get used to old school shaving but worth it for less rashes and a smooth shave. This set included a good quality weighty razor, chunky quality brush and the soap lathers up well and smells good. Should also last well as it’s a big tub. I also ended up with 35 blade included, which will likely last me at least a year. For the money you can’t beat the value – and as a bonus for the first time ever I actually look forward to shaving!

Haven’t been able to shave for years due to irritation. Did my research & this kit made a lot of sense! Razor is very intuitive to shave with, great balance to it. Not one cut in the few times I’ve shaved so far. The blades included will last me close to a year. Wasn’t expecting miracles but very little razor rash compared to a normal razor. Would definitely recommend!

Had this kit for three months now and has been superb! The razor is fantastic, well made, solid and perfect for a new DE shaver, can see it lasting a long time. The Brush has been great as well, lathers up nicely. (You can see lots of good reviews about this brush on this website as well).
The Proraso shaving cream is awesome and will be buying some more of this soon!
You get a great selection of razors which are lasting me ages! You can then find the one that works best for you.
I have never wet shaved before and heard good things about DE shaving, will certainly be sticking to it.

Fabulous Starter Kit, the shaves i have done have surpassed the quality & comfort of any of the disposables i have bought. The ritual as well is very therapeutic. well worth the investment. The only drawback is the brush is not very good quality, but that is to be expected for the price.
