I really like the greens. I can’t really put my finger on it but they just give me a really nice shave, low irritation and not much to touch up afterwards. I really like them.

This is a good blade, no doubt about it. It cuts cleanly and does not tug. I get a good smooth shave and can use them three or four times each. My only complaint is the glue used to hold the blade in the paper is excessive to the point that the glue is on the cutting edge of the blade.

I tend to alternate between 7 o’clock, Feather and Merkur and find these give me the closest shaves and with no burn. My own experience is that each of the three blades highlighted above gives three shaves but this will vary person to person.
I believe the Gillette is made in Russia.

I used to buy these for my dad at the local corner shop many years ago (single). Surprised to still see them around. Nostalgia more than anything. Surprisingly not too bad a shave would keep for standby.

Got these blades as part of starter pack samples and my benchmark blade is the feather. My razor is the merkur 34c and although I only gave it 2 stars, don’t be put off from trying them as we are all different and they may be perfect for you. This is the 5th different blade I’ve used and although it gave me a fairly close shave, I got razor burn, rash and it did drag a bit. Had 3 shaves with it now with different soaps and a pretty shave oil but like with all blades, you don’t know till you try.

I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about these, but sadly they just don’t cut it for me. Not efficient enough to give a close comfortable shave, prefer Gillette silver blue blades

Not into collecting, just wanted to put together some shaving gear. After trying a couple of different options the Muhle R89 head with Ikon OSS handle using Gillette 7 o’clock yellow blades is working best for me. Really good close shave, minimal irritation or nicks, good heft in the hand. Great for every day, breaks down nice for travel. Love it. Great service from Shave lounge too, my prefferred supplier.

One of my favourite blades is the Gillette Silver Blue. Having read some reviews I decided to try the 7 o’clock sharp edge. They provided a close, comfortable (3-pass) shave, but only marginally better then the Silver Blue – not significant enough to warrant a change from one to the other. My conclusion: I would be very happy with either blade; both are good.
